I really like your color scheme, it has character! I agree with you about the bone sword since it looks a bit plain, but I disagree about the lash whip. I feel that the blending is very smooth and successful. I love the Chaos Lord on manticore as well. He's well painted and I like the smooth transition on the sword. His cape is classy too.

Hey Viking it just hit me, were your Nids influenced by Phil Kelly? If so, it's a proppa homage!

I think the black needs a bit of highlighting, you could try drybrushing some grays. You could do the same with the blue on the guns (lighter blue).

I'm loving your purple Dark Eldars. Your Nurgle daemons are very convincing too. I agree with Dez about highlighting the black. It will make it stand out.

Little did you realize there was a devout member of The Church of Kelly in the house :)

Lol! Are you reading Blood of Kittens or what? :P I have a lot of respect for Phil Kelly as a designer because he tends to write balanced books (but sometimes he fails miserably and make an atrociously OP book like 6th edition Eldars) and writes very good fluff, but we have to admit that the CSM book is far from being his most glorious creation.
