I would have liked to see a bit of drybrushing on your farseers base to make the stones look a bit more weathered! On the other hand I really like the ,,green parts" between the stones. It makes the whole base so much more lively and realistic looking!
Yeah I agree with you, it would have made it look better! Next time i'll do that..

I've finished the jet bikes a week ago, haven't had time to take pics and upload them. Photos this time are just form the iPhone :(, nice camera is out on a rental.

Currently deciding on my next project. I have a farseer, autarch, and 4 warlocks on jetbikes, all of which are alternate sculpts from ghost miniatures. I also have wraith guard, warp spiders, and a vyper to choose from. Any opinions on what I should paint next?

I love the paint job! The blue/white fades are nicely done

Awesome work on those edge highlights :D I mean, it's great work all around, but the edges are especially crisp.

Great reds, crisp whites, great edge highlights, these look straight out of the codex pictures.

I tip my hat, great miniatures, you should be proud.

Looking great! Would you mind telling how you made and painted those bases?

I started by glueing two pieces of cork board to the base, one slightly smaller on top. Make sure to rip the edges and avoid any straight edges. Then I primed it black, and followed up with a heavy dose of white dry brushing. I mixed vallejo natural umber pigment with water and heavily washed the base with it. After the pigment had dried (it takes a while) I used an airbrush to spray on isopropyl alcohol to seal the pigment. You could use a paint brush to apply the isopropyl. Final step is to apply flock. Use a little bit of PVA glue, sprinkle the flock on, wait a bit and tap the excess off. I tried to make it look like moss growing on the rock by applying it mainly on the edges. Thanks for asking!

These jetbikes look fantastic! Lovely, crisp lines. I just wish the water-slide transfers for the sigils were a touch more opaque. But given the high color contrast between black and red, that's a lot to ask from any transfer that's going to be thin enough to lie as cleanly as the ones you've applied here.

@Brookgrimm: Thanks for the explanation! Already wrote it down into my ,,painting manual" which I'm keeping, have to give this a try sooner or later! :)

Im back! Current project is a squad of 5 warp spiders. I loathe finecast. I've recently purchased the entire of range of paints from WarColours (112 some odd paints) and preordered their 20 metallic paints.

Yeah, the blending on the weapon is top-notch. I like the blue gems too.

Awesome painting job! The kind of power crystal on the weapon is particularly impressive.
