If I am up at 2am I am either in no shape to paint or in need of a bondsman.

Hoping to do one at least every other day.

40 bugs left! And probably the only reason i got this one done today was because it was half painted already. My bug every other day is probably going to fall apart within the week.

Also any opinions on the basing? Doomed world or agrellan earth with some washes?

Doomed world seems more fitting for Nids imo

EDIT: My lighting settings are all on auto. So the paper towel did weird things to the picture. Here is the base up close

It looks great as a starting point. Then you can add some details on it.

I've somehow made it my first week in the gaunt every other day personal challenge i've given myself!

Image
Gave him a little extra detail. Reikland? Fleshshade on the fleshy bits and ammo.
Image
I did the base differently this time. Because my gaming mat has a lot of variety in the ground texture. Plus i wanted to try it out.

Then, As LordMcAllister suggested. I used agrax earth shade on the severed head and bone thingy. Image
It adds a lot of depth.

Then the nuln oil on the sword: Image

And i can't wait to start painting my first carnifex:

I like the new base! the carnifex looks like it'd be a lot of fun to paint too
