So, I had all these cool extra bits from my Thundertusk, and my Army needed a Hunter (Since they're awesome in AoS) soooooooo.....This happened! (And I saved $30.00!!!)

That's one awesome conversion! I love your attention to details. I love this pike, where does it come from?

The big spear comes from the Thundertusk kit. I didn't build the Stonehorn so the arm and pike were left on the sprue.

So,
Sometime around May I purchased a batch of older Dark Elf models off Ebay for a steal. They need some TLC so I've decided to stop putting it off and tackle this lot before I start on my Ogre Hunter. Here's what they looked like after unpacking them, and then after priming. I think I'm going to go with a Brown, Orange, Green pallet for the horses, and am undecided on the riders as of now. Should be a fun project.

I'm gonna toss this out to you guys. I've done a few runs with different colors, but I think I'm going to stick with this. On the horses I've done some base coloring and very basic highlights, just to get a feel for the pallet. I think I'm going to lean this way, but would like to know if I'm missing the mark with this combo. Help!

They look metallic.

Hrm. I think this is one of those instances where the airbrushing looks too much like airbrushing. They have a sort of ghostly aspect to them that I like, but I'm not sure the look as a whole is to my taste.

I like the ghostly aspect, but they do have a metallic look. Don't know if there was a flash or if it is on purpose.

It's kind of cool if the effect was intended. They look supernatural.
