I reckon the toned town colors look a lot more appealing than the normal flashy and bright khorne guys, something about it seems more sinister.

I really like this Subtle colour scheme. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with bright colour, but it gives them a... Long fighting feeling.

Yeah, I think Soria has hit the nail on the head. These guys really feel like they've been in the field killing stuff for a long time. It's the way I always imagined Chaos Space Marines with the "Veterans of the Long War" trait to look. Nicely done!
