It looks great! I love how you paint your Emperor's Children with a scheme that is nearer to the pre-Heresy colours. I've always hated the pink and black scheme, but I love the pre-Heresy one. The only thing I would have done differently is maybe painting the details of the sword in a different colour so they stand out more. They are almost of the same colour as the metal of the blade so we don't see them very well. Maybe it's because the photo is too dark however.

I like it! If you do anything to the sword, try a really light blue highlight/light drybrush in the same color as the plasma pistol.

He looks good!

I assemble all (most of) my models before painting. Just easier that way

Looks really nice!
And I have the same problem with my Tyranids. Painting certain parts is just so annoying when the model is completely assembled.

Yeah I spend a lot of time looking at the model and working out how it is assembled and what problem areas may occur for painting and work out if I will part assemble and paint and then glue afterwards.

Very rarely do I find myself painting a fully assembled miniature. Especially now with much more 3D plastic models coming out.

Very cool purple, and the weathering on the metals looks great!
