Yeah I am doing a matte spray finish. Krylon I am told is a good spray and the price is okay.

cool I've used Krylon before though not for minis and it works well (if you can remember to avoid humidity like I tend to forget =/) anyway sounds like fun!

My Trollbloods are pretty much done, just need to give them a blast with some Krylon protector spray, but I have none and its just not in my budget at the moment. Got started on the Menoth battlebox... Only to discover two Revengers instead of a Revengers and Repenter...And so begins CS. Put my ticket in Wednesday night it was in progress.

Some pics of the trollbloods. Sorry about the lighting, need to replace some special lightblubs.

And of course... the butt shot.

nice I love your base idea, way to match the minis but simple!

One of the first Warmahordes rant I heard was people needing to mark front and back arches, just so you can look at a quick glance. I decided I need to make the warlock/warcaster pop some how... So I just reversed the colours with the trolls, with my Circle I used silver.

So my replacement Repenter is here! Later when its chill time I will start in on it. The hope is to have the battlebox + 1 primed by the end of the week.

So... Not primed. Building the Repenter was one hurdle after another. Mostly due to fincky super glue and me making rookie mistakes. It's lead to the Repenter's feet looking like he's sliding to a stop which I can use to my advantage.

Sounds like you did it on purpose to me...very sneaky pretending it was a mistake.

I assure you it was a mistake, the legs are angled just slightly so it actually looks more like a lean or a slight dodge. Oh well sometimes you have roll with it.

*rimshot* I try. ;)

Minis primed and I have a basecoat of white on every body. I am still trying to decide if I should gold for my decorative metal, or go with my original plan of silver (radiant platinum of the P3 line). Just a bit worried the silver will blend to much with the regular metal.

You know, I was going to say stick with the plan...but gold is easy to paint over. Test it out!
