Hi all,

just an update for you all, I'm not going to be around as much (well less than I already am) and I won't be able to do any painting for a while, me and my partner broke up which means I have to find somewhere to live temporarily, which means most of my models will go into storage.

I'll login from time to time to have a look at all your wonderful work, but I think its going to be a while before I can settle in to painting again, pretty heart broken and we have been fighting for some time so I'm sure you can imagine I haven't really got/had the motivation anyway

That's a sad news. I had a similar situation recently when I divorced with my wife, so I understand how you feel. I think your separation was more painful than mine however. So I wish you well and take care of yourself. With time you will heal and you will be ready for a new beginning.

When you put them in storage make sure the boxes are up front next to the door. It'll surprise you how fast you'll be digging them out again. In life you'll change homes, careers, relationships, and even your appearance, but you'll never change who you are, and you my friend are a hobbyist.

Ok quick update guys, I've moved back in with my parents (sucks when you're almost 30 years old) but unfortunately that doesn't leave me with a lot of space to paint. So what I may do is start painting at my local GW store, gets me out the house and allows me to socialise to take my mind off things

Good job man. Just remember: Things will get better, its alright to let yourself just sit and cry/scream/ howl at the moon or all of the above if you feel overwhelmed, and last but not least, yes it is embarrassing to move back in with your parents at 30, but that doesn't say anything about expect you are going through a rough time right now and you have awesome and understanding parents.

Ok guys I'm kind of back on my feet. Still living at home, but the end justifies the means as now I'm able to save money and looking at going travelling.

I still need somewhere to paint my models, but all in good time :)
