I wish I had! I was too preoccupied trying to play correctly, I will get some for the next one.

I played first round vs Lizardmen. Seemed to be based around Warriors in big blocks. There was also a Slaan who was also the BSB, 2 Salamanders, an expensive mounted unit with an Old One (I don't know LZ), Dinosaur, and a unit of 6 Kroxigors. I pushed up the left flank with the Doomwheel, and the right with 2 HPAs while my Screaming Bell with Stormvermin held the center. That army just crumbled and was a massacre.

The second round was vs Skaven, woohoo! There were 2 objectives on the short sides of the board, 12 inches in, that counted as 250 victory points. He had way more bodies on the board, a unit of Rat Ogres like me, 2 Horde Slaves (30 each I think), an HPA, Doomwheel, unit of Plague Monks and a few units of Clan Rats, and a unit of Stormvermin. I had this game in the bag...and decided to be a good sport when my opponent noticed he had forgotten to move his Stormvermin onto an objective. I know, not very tournament minded of me but he's a good dude. Brought me from a win to a tie though narrowly ;)

Third round was Vampire Counts. This mission had a ring in the center of the board, if you Kill a unit in that circle it netted you +1 battle point. +1 if you challenged a unit to fight in it, and -1 if you avoided it. My opponent had 2 big units of Skelletons, 2 units of min bats and min Varghouls (3 each), 2 big units of Dire Wolves, 15 strong unit of Black Knights, 2 Terrorgheists, Mannfred. The Gutter Runners popped out first turn via Scouts (infiltrated) and stripped all but one wound off on of the Terrogheists. Bunch of other shenanigans went on, ended up making most of his army crumble. One more turn and it was a solid victory for me. I had my Bell in the Center, punching Terrorgheists and anything else that stepped up right in the face :)

So I painted a Night Lord, kinda testing out some ideas. On looking at it, I kinda get a Van Gogh vibe haha.

Played against someone I wasn't able to play in the tournament. I don't understand how I can have a list that the internet actually hates and still clobber with it. Ah well, I'm just happy it's painted :)

I swear I'm going to take pics of my Skaven army and my friend's Dreadball Team soon :)

So I've been pondering what to do next. I definitely want to work on Dwarfs, flesh out my Skaven some more, and...do something 40K. I just can't decide what.

I was planning on doing a warband comprised of Radical Inquisitors. I think it might be a lot of fun, conversion wise. I also would like to work on my Traitor Guard...I've had them forever and they aren't finished BOO. I've also got to tie up some loose ends with my Necron army, and I have boxes and boxes and boxes of Ork stuff to still build and don't even start with what needs paint still ;)

I hate the "what to do next" limbo... it doesn't help when I have SO MANY projects/minis... it helps even less that I very rarely play games, so there's no pressure for me to have a complete army at any point!

Lately I'm working on completing an overdue commission, plus a few models for Joe - and then just painting whatever of mine strikes my fancy when I have time. The up/downside of the commission is that I need to use the airbrush on it, but most of my painting time is in the evening after the misses is already asleep, so I can't run my compressor - so I've been able to paint my own stuff while ignoring the commission (with some guilt) because of that.

Anyway... tie up those Necron loose ends will ya? :P

I just go into my storage room. Taken over by Warhammer/Stuff to paint.

Speaking of, I finally have everything to take my new Badger Sotar 20/20F for a test spin! I also picked up some of the new Vallejo Game Air. The airbrush did get a bit clogged up with the gunmetal, but the rest worked fine.

I just did this for fun: Grey primer> Black everywhere> Base Gunmetal> Zenithal Highlight Plate Metal. Not bad, it looks great live but pictures make it look flaky. It's not :)

I think I have an old dwarf laying around if you want it.

My last couple of runs with the V-air have been better. First few had a lot of clogging. Too cold in the garage right now to airbrush :(
