Yeah, I did get to do a mission to sabotage a data processing facility.

Somethings didn't happen the way I wanted as a crapton of chaos marines showed up right next to me suddenly and I was lucky that their rolling was poor for the turn.

I just had another idea.... Victory Points!

MP (military points) can be used to regulate movement, games played and shizzle but how do we know who is 'winning'. We can assign objectives to each team for each round of the campaign and each of those VP is used to determine the overall winning team.

This would make the movement and strategy seem more stategic to the average player. There is strategy the way the system is currently designed but to a newbie it may be hard to grasp. Victory points are nice and simple.

I propose that not only do we keep planet nuking but we increase its effect, offering the opportunity to nuke itbso badly it gets wiped from the map entirely.

If I let you do that, there'd be nothing left to fight over!

Quit being distracted and get back to work.

The thing that is particularly convenient for being a Pavoni (biomancer) and leading a warband is that there are diviners on my crew to work on that job for me. :)

One problem. The friends I play with don't have Internet access and as such they don't have emails. I can make all 3 of the ones who were in the campaign and all the others MWG accounts but I'd have to be the one managing them since they'd be unable to, it just seems clunky and large. And also a pickup game at a local store, not everyone has an account like your group does. This would mean that random games can no longer be used, effectively killing anyone in the campaign who plays with people who are random on a regular basis.

I will try to enlist my friend into that, but I'm not sure if he will care. Also, being forced to play certain scenarios may turn him off. I feel you are trying to shape the new campaign like if it was a small coherent group of players that play together week after week and can agree on a common system, I'm not sure this format would work for everybody. I will certainly join the roleplay going on as I had fantastic moments with everybody, but I'm not sure if I will be able to for the real campaign proper.

^exactly
This was designed first to be a massive thing that went on all over the forums and it was at first, it should still be that way. A very select group of people will be able to participate in this, and it should be more that just your gaming group
