Looking forward to seeing them, may i ask how you feel about the new Tyranid Codex? Anything you thinking you would like to get or paint?

I need to finish the bases for my biovores/spore mines and then I hope to finnish up a unit of hiveguard this week.
i hate it.

As someone else said somewhere, its more that there were so many missed opurtunities to make a really good codex.

There are alot of things that just didnt make sense in a gaming sense, like the removal of mycetic spores because of the chapter house lawsuit, the loss of book powers, increased cost of tervigons, loss of BS 4 of hiveguard, ripper swarms increasing in pts, genestealers still sucking, etc...

In my opinion you could have hired any 5 tyrnids players and asked them to collaborate for a few weeks to come up with some well balanced revised 6th ed rules and they would have done a better job. I have been trying to come up with a few lists that I think will run well without success and I've allready giving up on using tervigons.

The only way I can really share/explain my frustration over the codex is to ask the eldar players to imagine what they would do if wave serpents had increased by more than 100 pts and lost their serpent shield. Or if the space marine codex had lost the use of drop pods. The changes that they made simply destroyed the play style that Nid players were used to/hoping to use going forward.
