Battling the army of grey #theweeklypaint

Post by miguel77 » Sun Aug 11, 2013 2:18 pm

Time to get my self motivated and get on with some painting ! I have loads of unfinished armies but have decided to concentrate on a couple and get them done !
So goals are to finish my lizardmen army, which will be getting some new additions now ! Will probably work on my necrons and some random minis to prevent burn out !
Will update with pics !

First update and I have finished priming all my lizardmen and started on the Saurus warriors. Also finished off some historical minis.

Here are the warlord games imperial Romans and a couple of celts

Welcome, your stuff is looking good!

You should try using a green wash on the Annihilation Barge guns to help tie in the colors, it will help create a transition for the glow effect :)

Looking great! Love to have a new member of the challenge and don't worry about 'not strictly painting' most of the stuff we talk about has nothing to do with the matter :P

Ok here is an update ! Managed to finish a unit of 24 Saurus warriors and 10 skink skirmishers. Also purchased the flames of war starter set so assembled that. Still a bit nervous about plunging into 15mm painting, boy those infantry are !

I love your lizards! Very nice blue, but I really like the way you did your gold and bone! What is your recipe?
