So i still have a HEAP of models that need painting, looking at upwards of 100 models that are either just base coated or grey from both Eldar and Dark Eldar and hoping to keep motivation up to get them done.

I am hoping to at least get some painting done each day and if not at least a couple times a week. May even start to push my self and aim to get a squad, monsterous creature or vehicle done each month.

To keep track I will be using a couple basic systems similar to the one i use in my WIP and hopefully it will inspire me to keep the motivation going.

Always happy to hear advice and ideas so feel free to smack me up with some!

Tried out the "Army Painter Quickshade Dripping" product last night and again this afternoon on a couple models and I have to say it really is a great product. For me personally, who is not the strongest painter, it really adds a great amount to the models and does a great job of taking a "OK" table top model to a "oh wow" level. I will prob post so,e before and after shots f these models over in my WIP at some point.

Will be testing out the dipping vs painting method of this shade as well possibly Sunday and will post more more about it then.

I've done some work with the Army Painter Quickshades, and overall I'm pretty happy with them... I found they took a LOT of shaking off though or it pooled pretty deeply in some places. Your experience may vary :)

Yeah i had to really shake them off hard which is why i am going to try the painting style of application.

I have seen on youtube in a few videos people attacking magnets to the base of the model and to a rod on a drill and spinning them. It seemed to work to great effect.

After i shake them off i usually hang them upside down over night aswell and seemes to help a little to stop pooling as well.

Let me know if the paint-on/splash-on method works better for you... I've still got 2 jars of Quickshade and haven't really used them in a while because of the pooling.
