So here's the damage. My only thoughts on bringing it back are to make a cool base, perhaps with an IG dude blown up and scraps from a plasma gun. Or I could even model some destroyed tank bits on the base, and put a ripped off Executioner turret in it's appendages. Then I could sculpt the melted bits as plasma burns.

I haven't been very helpful to Chaos in the campaign. Last week I played Necrons, and last night we played Kill Teams ;)

I ran a fun 200 Point Ork list:

Kommandoz x5
-Burnaz x2 (Gave one Rending)

Boys x16
-Shootas
-Nob w/Eavy Armor (Hatred)
-One boy had Rampage

I wanted to gear my specialists up for assault, seeing as we'd be on a smaller board. Both times, my opponents killed the Nob before he could do anything, he may have gotten to move and that's about it. Next time I'll give him something like FNP to keep him around.

Rending on templates makes me giddy as a schoolgirl. I love the idea of Frag Cannons, one day I'll finish my Deff Krumpany (Counts as Blood Angels). I'll take Kommandoz every time.

Rampage..was kinda 'who cares?'. I just picked it quick.

My first game was against Dark Angels. My opponent had a bunch of troops, plasmagun and plasmacannon, dual plasma pistols on the Sargent. Ork shooting was red hot, just blasted dem beakies right off the board!

My next game was against White Scars Bikers, and I just couldn't wound them. Need 5/6 to hit and then 5/6 to wound is a bit tough. I got wiped off the board ;)

I think my sculpting skills are novice, but I should be able to do something with it. I'm thinking multiple plasma burns.

Yes, and I have multiple Horde armies: Orks, IG, Nids and Skaven ;)

Agreed! My main army is a heavily Warrior based WoC army, and I still feel like I have tons to paint.

Painting 100+ state troops is like the best part of playing Empire, I might be crazy but I love painting large blobs/blocks of models, take it 1 colour at a time and you can go through them in no time at all. Plus it looks sexy on the table top.
Time will tell... Sooner or later... Time will tell.

FYI, I'm Dutch, not Finnish, I just live there.

I really enjoy painting Orks. I hate painting Nids, though. I'm trying to develop an all spray paint technique for them. Well, mostly anyway I've also got to break out the airbrush.
