Wow some awesome ideas. Might be attending next group build if I get inspiration. I'm itching to make some terrain (I have to use that annoying styrene I got within the package of my computer). Could built a complete city out of the amount I have.
Perhaps city-fight terrain? Or Urban? Or underground?

Impossible terrain, things that should realisticly never work.
Like an inverse pyramid!
I tried making that once, with humans. It didn't work out so well.
Made my day! Which says a lot because I'm surrounded by idiots at work who do insanely stupid (but hilarious for me) things.

something with underground could be neat. or pits. Like a lower and lower theme or such. guess sorta hard to do that unless you build up a base first though

Steam Titan and I are on the same page. I was logging on to suggest terrain that has a below ground theme, trenches, pits, and caverns. I think it would be a good follow on to the current group build.

I third this idea. Although not very field-able, it would be nice scenery, or place to display stuff.

For a more field-able or playable piece I would go with the trenches! Even the simplest trenches I have seen look great. I would love to see what types of things the group would come up with.
could do dwarf tunnels or something. pits would be neat too. like layered pits or such. dunno. I really wanna make a maw pit piece sometime though not sure how it would function since it would be at least an inche deep with spikes about it facing inwards

Sorry if this has already been said, I haven't had the time to read through previous posts, but what about terrain for ForgeWorld's Zone Mortalis expansion?

This sounds a bit too restrictive to one game system (albeit a popular one).
How about "confined quarters", which can easily include any Zone Mortalis terrain but could be expanded to the other game systems as well.

That would be awesome, I was thinking of making some zone mortalis scenery so I might join that one.

i apolagize if this has already been suggested, but what about army specific terrain? so people could make alien terrain for tyranids, or orky terrain, or even eldar gate structures. I think it would be neat to see people building terrain for their own specific armies
