group build 34 , QuixosWasRight's Promethium Refinery

Post by QuixosWasRight » Tue Mar 13, 2012 5:34 pm

So here's what i got , a ton or random plastic containers from work and some different sized straws .
I'm hoping to put it all together into a refinery on a 12x12 piece of board with some catwalks and stuff to fill it out.
p.s. how do i post pictures, don't mind me i new to the inter-web.

Sounds like a solid build.

To post pictures...
-Take pic and edit. I usually re-size my pics down to about 800 pixels wide so they fit on the forum.
-Upload to Photobucket.com
-Pass your cursor over the pic and select the last option from the drop-down menu.(IMG tab)
-Paste that tab in the reply box here and your pic should show up.

Here is some pics of my supplies for this build. Wow that was a round about way of posting pics. It is so much easier on the independent characters forum .

My progress so far.
I still have to affix my buildings to the panel and put down some base paint.
Let me know what i can do to make it better.

Yes they are and they are a real pain to make them work.
I had to do a ton of filing on them to get them to fit the gw parts , still they do look cool.

It's looking great dude. Awesome how that bit of sprue worked perfectly for that mustard bottle. :)

I would like to point out one thing...

Do you have two more of these in the works?
if not...
Cutting the base up and making each feature a separate piece will suffice for the end of the month voting. But you do need to show that this terrain is easily reproduced by making three or more.

Ya i miss understood the mass production part.
I was thinking of production style buildings and not easily reproduced terrain.
Oops.
