That's pretty cool! The white styro makes it a little more organic looking.

Ohhh, mini schrooms! I love small scale schrooms!

Are you going to seal the styro foam? With what?
I have alot of this stuff, but dont use it much, as I find it comes apart easy.

when the paint soaks into the foam they go soggy so you cant touch them but in ten minutes there hard and dont fall apart at all

paint them like this
Image
just kidding
but multiple colours would be cool as mushrooms are mould and mould is found in all colours
and also it could be that on other planets a mushroom has a fluorescent colour just shooting suggestions
what do you get when you take necrons and put them in orks
hmmm....
maybe necrorks (robotick soulless orks with the mind of orks)

i would say go with like a grey brown, kind of cavelike thing. Depends all on your army, your terrain(if you have made any) that you would use commonly. Or if you want to paint them fun colours then i would go with the picture posted earlier, made me laugh when i saw them.

I would go for a more natural color selection. Grey/brown/pale green/etc. You could still do a dot theme like the toadstools but the mushrooms look more like natural shrooms than cartooney ones.

they do look more like natural ones soooo.....

i didnt actually attach the shrooms to the base but put them on tooth picks so i could take them out for storage and such, im going to make a set of toadstools and some natural ones so i can swap them around.

my problem is solved 8)

Why not do one of each and then decide. Or do two sets, one for cave/forest and one for other situations, fields etc.
