great idea I to will "borrow" this idea
also they turned out great I really like the different colors and the fact that you can use them so versatile

but if I may suggest something
you could make some like they were leaking some of the content (water, slime, ...)
what do you get when you take necrons and put them in orks
hmmm....
maybe necrorks (robotick soulless orks with the mind of orks)

Thanks guys, they are really fast to build and they are so useful to fill out a board! Last game they kept a Swarmlord alive and kicking (hard) for 3 whole valkyrie-shooting turns...

@dragonianwolf It's a good idea but if I made some of them leaking then the purpose would be lost, as they are meant to be modular. I'll try to use a hot glue gun and leak something out of a batch of new drums so we can take a look at it.

I think this has my vote:
its the easiest, fastest, (and good looking) mass-produced terrain i have seen until now. (well apart from those 3 crates^^)
