Ideas for playtesting

Just some quick ideas for play testing.

For the most part, use averages rather than real dice rolls. You can definitely do both, but the dice might make something feel stronger or weaker than it really is.

Also, try and focus on what mechanics work, and not on balance of the squads. We'll get to balance once the models are figured out.

Balance is really just a game of pricing and limiting a model properly, and not so much the mechanics.

True, and I know you kind of said this already, and it's a little late to say, but don't steer people away from dice rolls completely. You have to put in to account the potential of abilities and rules, as well as there average result.
