so after creeping around looking at other peoples painting and motivation to paint i have decided to join in on the fun unfortunatly i dont get around to painting as much as i would like to and even worse due to schooling and work i never really get the time to paint every day but though i would try and change that so here i go

here is some work on the fortress of redemtion i got done

sorry for such bad pic quality (phone camera) will have better way of taking pics soon

so far i have a base coat of 50/50 chainmail and boltgun metal with the black fade at the bottom i am trying to deide what paint to use for quick highlights then what colour to use for trim help on picking the colours would speed the decision making prosses up alot

The fortress looks really awesome so far. I thought first it was a effect from your light, than I read wizardv12222's comment, looked back at it and was instantly 12000% more amazed. 12000%.

WHAT 12000!!!

thanx for the coments i just cant decide what colour to use to apply highlight with i was thinking about trying the new gw "dry" paint maybe use "necron compound" it would take forever to drybrush onto the edges but might look good has anyone else had any experience with the new "dry" paints ?

I would add some straight boltgun as a final highlight. When you say trim do you mean the wings? (If so go bronze for them, the contrast will work nicely)
If you mean an edge highlight for the black to boltgun fade just use mithril silver.
