I look at this and ask, do you clean the mold lines off your models before you paint them? and do you use paint on primer?

The last two models I've painted were spray primed on the sprue. I didn't have any pins or anything to hold the model for me and I didn't want to hold the model as I painted it. Oh, the model was the Zombie Dragon kit.

Now, on that horse however... That was just me being dumb and I didn't check the horses leg... I got his armor though!

Wow, I remember playing this when it first came out.
My group back then found it fun but we enjoyed 40K more.
I always really liked the models though. I've been meaning to pick up some Tau ships just to paint.

Tried out some more of the new GW paints today while I was at work. Saturdays a joke they are so slow. I actually sit and watch Netflix while at work. Anyway... Here's what I did last night.

And here's what I did today at work while watching Doctor Who.

Blue just pick up Aquan ships from spartan games, they look more like Tau ships than the official Tau ships.

And/or the Forge World ships. Chris, one of the employees at my GW, and a good friend of mine has a bunch and they look much better than the ones produced by GW.

Previous photos were taken on Saturday. This is what I did Sunday.

Painted the bottom of the ship. So now it's "fully painted", minus the Black Templar heraldry I need to include. Other than that, it's table top ready IMO.
I tried out the new Ceramite White. Works amazingly!
