I forgot to post yesterday. I decided that I didnt really like most of the accessories the guardsmen had so I cut most of them off (I left a few on ones which were really glued on tight and others where it actually looked good)

now I hope I paint something today

finished one of the guardsmen. I am not going to post a picture of him as instead of stripping the painted guardsmen I just painted over them and this one was what I beleive to be the previous owners "test" model and it has several coats of paint on it and with me adding more (and the residue of glue chunks from me cutting off riddiculous conversion bits) he turned out reall gloppy and with missing detail (and not to mention the previous owner screwed up while building him so his arms are down to low and out to far) all in all he looks terrible but not so terrible that he cant blend into a squad of 10 guardsmen on the table top

Make a 20 man squad, he'll blend in for sure! Then throw in a commissar so when you lose morale, you can execute him!

I need to start feilding my guard in blobs of 20+. I was always told by other guard players (back when I played eldar) that I have to destroy the entire platoon to get a kill point but when I started to play them I found that that is not the case D:

At one time I had two platoons of 50 guardsmen each, it was kill points so my army was 2 sentinels, CCS (Yourk), 2 PCS and 2 50 man squads.

I had 2 PCS with 4 10 man guardsmen squads each and a few storm troopers running around against necrons (kill points). I still bareley managed to tie it.
