It is Vomit Brown with a pretty heavy wash in Devlan Mud. Gives it a yellow orange leather look.

Well I almost finished off all my figures, but by the time I got to painting on Sunday it was dark, and nice out so I opened the windows. Well, small little gnat buzzed in and of course my craft desk is the most lite up place in the house. Needless to say after picking a few of them buggers out of the paint on my pallet, I decided to call it a loss.

But, should be able to kick everything else out pretty quick tonight.

Well couldn't help myself, but did some more little detail work on the banshees, then called them done. Just need to get the base rim color from my friend. Since it is his army I'll let him decide if he wants a specific color.

Tau are all done as well, I'll get some pictures of all of it taken tomorrow.

Decided if I want decent pictures, I wanted a display board to put them on for the pictures.

So after a day or so of rest, I have started my board. Hoping to have it finished this weekend.

Plan is to put some sides/top on it after I'm done for lights.

Didn't get a whole ton painted this weekend. Did base coat my display board, but I went to a friend and we started putting together the first of our zone mortalis boards.

This was a dry fit, so the pieces haven't been glued together yet, but wanted to send you guys a pic to see what you thought.

Cool, is that an actual Forge World parts? It doesn't seem it from the website, but regardless it looks cool. Are you going to leave it as a room, as opposed to making a labyrinth?

No it's not forgeworld, it is made from hirst arts plaster molds. Originally we were thinking of doing like the fw tiles and make it a maze, but we changed our minds and now we are going to do more corridors and then rooms, and themed rooms (med lab, bridge, engine room, stuff like that.

Yesterday and today I finished up the base of my display board. Since it is done I decided to get some hopefully better pictures of the banshees.

I also tried to get some of the Tau stuff, but my camera apparently doesn't like blue, so I'll have to try to do some adjusting on it and get some decent pictures of them.
