The Gaurdsmen return

Post by tyranid4glory » Thu Apr 25, 2013 9:01 pm

This is part two in what was a quite popular game. Now its tyranids your up against, on whatever the planet was called.
Rules are the same:
Multiple options, with one that will lead to death, another to survival, and the occasional variable choice or fun choice for variety. You chose one option, if its the wrong one you die, the right one you live and get a survival point. Survival points are exchanged for items that improve your performance at times, and make you more awesome. I will post the response that tells you the outcome 1 day after I make the choice post, so get your post in fast! If you die, you can rejoin the actions 3 days later, unless someone can find a way to bring you back. (done with a med-kit)

The story commences:
You land on the planet, which is a large world full of agri-fields and listening posts, with several heavily fortified cities. You are stationed on the bashakar continent, which is primarily a agri-zone.
You leave your valkerye to survey the surroundings. Large open area's, with several massive lascannons guarding the base from orbital attack.
You see what looks like several metoers make a landing several kilometers away. They loo odd, but not hostile, at least not from here.
What do you do:
A) Join the response team that's been put together
Or:
B) Follow their flanks as an outrider

This desicion won't kill you. Think of it as a free survival point.

Items you can buy:
1 survival point:
Binoculars-improve vision range when used
Pistol-for defense if the enemy gets to close

I'll go flank with jag, and I'll take a pistol (and a 2nd one because jag never said what he wanted :) )
I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees

The gaurdsmen advanced slowly, careful not to alert any enemies. The formation moved through tree high grass and luminous blue rocks, with the red dirt of the planet moist from the rainfall. Suddenly, three guardsmen collaspased.
"LICTORS!" Someone shouted.
What do you do?
A) Fire blindly
B) Use Someone as a human shield (say who, you coward)
C) Run into the thick of the gaurdsmen. Safety is in numbers after all.

Sorry it took a while to post this, as the computer was being used all day so I couldn't get on long enough to post.
