Hi Matt,

What kind of terrain density are you looking at for your game? Something with sparse terrain, like 40K, or something with extremely dense masses of it like Necromunda?

How important a roll do you want terrain to play in your game?

Do you want it simple (difficult/dangerous/impassable), or detailed, with many kinds of terrain having different rules/effects?

Why not both simple and detail type and let the players pick what they want?

Cover will play a vital part in this game, so I would say that it will be dense.

I always thought the game would have heavy terrain, like a dense jungle, or a over grown city with MAYBE one clear main street.

What Tmb said.

This game will be more shooting oriented. Rules for cover, line of sight, heights and angles should be fully fleshed out. But it shouldn't be so convoluted that players will put less terrain just so they don't have to worry about complex terrain rules. Balance is key!

Yeah, assasination, close quarter combat, snipers. Another reason not to make rules to complicated is that this will eventually become a much bigger game!
