For the love of mankind, Skarsgaard! You can't just send those drawings on to the Admiral without some explanation, the X'lanthos in those sketches are archaic! Terra has never seen anything like them, any more than Luna has seen Neanderthal astronauts.

Admiral Teller, sir, I have attached an anatomy schematic of the "stone age" X'lanthos ancestor, from the drawings made by our Changer. The invaders on Terra are a few steps evolved since this primitive ancestor, obviously - just look at the tiny eyestalks, compared to the huge communication organs of the modern specimens! And the unsophisticated hide patterning. I wonder if a X'lanthos scientist would find it just as interesting to see a modern human make drawings of a chimpanzee.

It could perhaps also be said that our Changer is an, ah... upgrade upon his X'lanthos predecessors. ... I must return to study it further.

Oh right, which reminds me! Heeere, kitty kit-

That is quite weird, but for some reason I am drawn to it.

I am quite interested to see what the next stage in evolution will look like.
