There's just something about this that I love, and would love to get inspiration from for the Salvagers:

As far as locomotion systems go are you trying to get away from bipeds?

all of them. Really what strikes me the most is that they are slightly boxy and
non bipeds
just not even trying to be human or conform to human thinking.
just a cold programmed logic

i like the big grey one with six legs and the drone flying in front
it has a human for scale and then you realize it is massive.
it would be a good start for a csu
who says a salvager needs to be based anywhere.
mobile csu salvager
no army an be with out one
a huge robotic base that can reproduce more salvager scraplings
during the game.
it dosent matter how many you destroy this thing just keeps collecting
and producing.
until you bring it down your geting nowhere
brings up some interesting gameplay in my mind

very imposing on the table too.
