My thoughts on the appocolypse landscape of dark potential
I have a high threshold for other peoples pain.

im going to do all links because it takes up less space, and ill post thoughts so if you like it, you know which images to look at.
http://www.google.com/imgres?q=cities+o ... 66&bih=643
very overgrown tokyo looking city, if global warming has happened, i like the ideas of rivers rising, perhaps turning city tunnels into lakes/ponds. perhaps if the corporation is in a city like this they could use boats like in venice? i feel that would give off a "good" vibe.

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=cities+o ... 66&bih=643
starter image for a bandit base (except i dont think their are many castles in eastern canada...), but i picture the right tower having a HUGE tree coming out of it instead of hardly anything. all the way up the tree is a staircase spiraling around, with a treehouse at the top as a lookouts post. perhaps more natural additions, but i cant think of any others

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=i+am+leg ... 66&bih=643
as you can see, concept art for I Am Legend. i like it because buildings will not stand up to time. its kinda difficult to see but nature is reclaiming the city, i feel areas like this would make for great skirmish areas.
2 more I Am Legend pictures to show what i mean

i think this one is from population zero. perhaps most of the highways could look something like this? if one person is infected in a city, its eventually going to spread, and people will try to run. i dont think the virus will kill people quick enough for the cars to be like this, but perhaps there is a roadblock ahead?

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=the+worl ... 66&bih=643
this is easily my favorite picture so far. its creepy, but not really gloomy (to me at least). i feel like their isnt enough trees or tallgrass though, but i dont know what russias climate is like

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=life+aft ... 66&bih=643
i think this is life after people. but just imagine what could live in this place. their could be bandits hiding above, alien animals stalking you threw the pews, scavenger spider-bots climbing up walls... creepy stuff
saltine runner thanks you for reading this post, and is sorry for his ramblings.

I think this stuff is good, because the actual damage to structures and stuff is limited to what nature's growth did, lack of maintenance work, and something else but I forgot what that was.

so venice in movies usually is something completely different from reality. at least well I saw a couple shots of the tourist and then I simply couldn't bear it.
yes we do use boats just like in other places cars are used, even though you can compare feet to cars in a very similar way too.

places in movies are not really accurate, but not just venice. pretty much anywhere.

this is getting off topic.

those pics are all good I guess. they are not the fallout kind of thing but still post-apocalyptic, so it works.
