What else can I do with my Tau Devilfish?

Postby Dtram » Thu Jul 01, 2010 4:47 am

Hey, I bought myself a Tau Devilfish the other and I've already magnetized the 3 doors so they snap shut, and can be opened... But what else is there I can do? :\

I wanted to put a couple Rail Rifles in the gun slots on the walls, but I found out I must've already sold all my Tau bitz -.- So mhm =\

I have 100g of Green Stuff, and 50 more 3mm by 1.5mm magnets coming, maybe in tomorrow, so if that helps...

I basically want just some detailing done, explaining the doors and need for the guns... So nothing to change the major outward appearance of the Devilfish pls :)

I'd magnetize the nose turrent so that you can swap between a Devilfish and a Hammerhead or Skyray when you get the bitz.

Check Eastern Empire's website. He has some really good guides for magnetizing the nose piece of the DF in his downloads section.

Yeah I've been using some pretty detailed magnetizing DF guides to do mine currently, but I figure... I'm always always going to need atleast 1 DF, so theres really no need to magnetize it in a way to make it possible to swap to HH or SR, though, when I need another or one of the alternatives, I shall be magnetizing those :).
