Fairly happy with how this guy has turned out.

He is the squad leader for what will be my Pegasi Brethren.

Fortunately I don't plan on any more models with lances. I want this cavalry unit to be fairly cheap. Their purpose will simply be to charge full speed into the enemy to tie up a unit or two therefore taking some pressure off my foot troops.

I don't think I ever told you, but I really love the kit bashing you've done for your templar terminators with Storm Shields and these lance armed bikers you just did. You've got the right instinct to give them a lot of character while keeping them relatively sober. That keeps their stern look intact. When they will be painted up, they will be trully amazing!

Thanks bud! Those Terminators (Knight Brethren) were tricky but for odd reasons such as trying to keep them from all looking identical and finding right arm & shoulder pad combos that actually fit together as the shoulder pads have so much paraphernalia hanging from them.

Painting them is more of an issue unfortunately as I really don't enjoy painting even though I'm OK at it. I have a friend who is slowly working through my collection for me. He's near on finished painting my 4K of Grey Knights. This is another model he just did for me;

It looks great! I think your army will be super impressive once done. Yeah, I'm not a very enthusiastic painter myself and I also have a friend doing the same for me. So I very much understand you.

Latest model just now constructed. That stance was quite a nightmare to achieve. I had to lightly glue and break it apart several times in order to get the arm positioning. You can just see the green stuff on his left wrist too which was required to extend out the hand so that the spear would clear the wrist weapon.

I love the pose! It was well worth the work! We see the green stuff a little, but it's quite subtle. The model is trully amazing!

Correct, it is a Legio Custodes Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought. I'm yet to field it so I'm hoping it'll perform well, considering that its almost triple the cost of a regular dread with only 3 HPs. My goal is to charge it in to a Space Wolves shield dread and cleave it in two. It'll most likely get one-shot by Long Fang.

The sword is a D weapon?

I assume you mean the dreadspear pictured above and not the Galatus warblade which is on the sword wielding version. Neither are D weapons. The dreadspear has a rule called 'Impaling' which means that any To Hit roll of 6 on the charge is a Destroyer hit. Pretty nasty considering it's WS6 with 7 Attacks (on the charge) and Master-crafted.
