Here's what I'm up to at the moment. I ditched the cables and huge box mags for the heavy bolters. The hurricane bolters / m.launchers will be magnetised but believe it or not, I have run out of 2mm magnets. The magnet god is not pleased!

This is the first model of my next project. I really don't like the Scout heads and so I think this is the most appropriate helmet I can find as it's the smallest.

It's not you. Scout models are horrible. They're ever so slightly smaller than other Marines for some reason. The camera angle makes it look worse though. Here's a better angle;

This is my first (proper) Templar. Pretty happy with how it turned out...

More progress;

These are my Sword Brethren squad (Vanguard Vets with dual melee weapons). Made from the Templar Sword Brethren kit as well as the two Space Marine Veteran kits.

These will be Shield Brethren (Vanguard Vets with melee/shield load-outs). Made mostly from the Vanguard kit with some Deathwatch bits.

Problem...

I have these left. I really dislike plasma but could do with the extra punch in my nearly full melee list. Plus the models do look decent with them AND there is a dodgy benefit to losing a guy to Gets Hot. I will meditate on this.

Ironjawz AoS: 2100p. painted 100%
few other projects too

Did you mean grav-pistol as Vanguard cannot have grav-guns?

Hmmm... I know grav is good but it doesn't seem appropriate for Templars (just me). I'd give them inferno or flame pistols if I could.

So these bad boys are done.
[+] Expand

Rear rank (Left to right);
-10 Initiates + 5 Neophytes (boltguns, p.sword, p.axe).
-10 Sword Disciples (Assault Marines, b.pistol & c.sword, p.sword & c.shield).
-10 Initiates + 5 Neophytes (boltguns, p.sword, p.axe).

Front rank;
-10 Sword Brethren (Vanguard, various duel melee).
-10 Knight Brethren (Terminators, great sword [t.hammer] & s.shield).
-Helbrecht.
-Emperor's Champion.
-10 Shield Brethren (Vanguard, p.sword & s.shield, relic blade, p.axe).

1,985 points

For now any range/armour support will be provided by my Iron Hands. I'd like to add two Contemptors but I'll do that only if I put full effort into Templarifying them.

I finally found some time to add the 2mm magnets to some Centurions.

Took over an hour to magnetise just a few guys. FYI: I had to order the spare weapon housings from eBay as the kit doesn't accommodate swapping.

He is the squad leader for what will be my Pegasi Brethren.

Fortunately I don't plan on any more models with lances. I want this cavalry unit to be fairly cheap. Their purpose will simply be to charge full speed into the enemy to tie up a unit or two therefore taking some pressure off my foot troops.
