As I've been working on my warriors, I keep looking at the gun and thinking "eh" with the
axe blade on it so I'm toying with the idea of making them scythes. Has anyone seen
this done before as I'm a bit stuck as to what to use for the blade end. I was thinking
of using the Immortal blades, but... I don't know. Any thoughts?

Re: Necron Gun Conversion question
what about thicker plasticard? it's about the same as the blade thickness I think
You could scribe one out and give it a go. If you end up not liking it, don't have to use it. I think it'd work though, and it wouldn't look too different from the original weapon itself

I honestly hadn't thought of using plasticard. I may try that out.

You could also buy a sprue of hormagaunt arms of of ebay and cut the talons off.
The question is, do oil your war machines... or feed them
Re: Necron Gun Conversion question
no but it sounds cool. I would look to some of the Eldar reaper weapons for inspiration in this.
