Sounds like a plan for me then.

-thumbs up-
Glain may descend from a long lineage of warriors, from a culture where combat is key, etc.
But he still realizes when his Behind is beaten.

Changed it to 1.5. I don't want to be called "Shorty" by Dwarves. Also removed my magic thing.

I'm just thinking you and Chaos polish up the fight scene and then I'll add in my bit at the end?

HAHAHAAHAHA You're a celibate monk who eschews all mortal pleasures. I'm a Whale-man. I do whatever I want.

As are you. In fact, I was one snap away from killing you. Then, you know, I got impaled.

Re: Unlikely Heroes: OOC
Well we're all one step away from dying somehow.
Actually yeah, that's true. Every active character (but Nauticus) has been in a near-death situation. Some of us simply have more than one.
What are we going to do with Glain in the long term? I can't really think of a way around the language barrier unless Anatar is telepathic or something. If the rest of us humanoids can't understand Glain, then there's no way we'd ever regain trust in him. In fact, we'd probably just behead him on the spot. And if Anatar can't understand him, there's really no logical reason for Glain to survive.
I don't normally encourage this, but Shas you might want to start speaking the same language as everyone else. You know, pull it out of thin air.

Says who? Because I'm a monk? I don't recall writing that into my backstoryCthulu Mechanicus wrote:HAHAHAAHAHA You're a celibate monk who eschews all mortal pleasures. I'm a Whale-man. I do whatever I want.

True, true. But Anatar is a god. He will logically be able to understand us, and possibly just imbue me with knowledge of the common tongue. Hopefully.Chaos Farseer wrote:Well we're all one step away from dying somehow.

Re: Unlikely Heroes: OOC
If Anatar was all-powerful, he kinda would've solved all this by now. There's no guarantee that he can make you speak a language.
Jason?
