DnD 4th Ed, The Heroes battle the 2-Headed Ice Dragon

Post by Vassago42 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 1:20 pm

I dont have pictures of the rest of the game right now, so i'll post what I have.

The setting is inside a castle that is magically hewn into a floating iceberg. The Heroes have battled Ice Sauhagin, Frost Giants, and Ice Beholders getting to this point. Here they have entered the Winter's Chamber to engage the their Leader. The Fate of the World hangs in the balance. *cliche' music here* I dont have a 2-headed dragon figure, so I used a very nice looking dragon I picked up at JoAnn's during a sale.

The Heroes enter the room and behold the beast:

In this overhead shot, you can see the Seed of Winter atop the main pillar:

The ice floor is made of epoxy resin i cast using hirst arts molds. The blue cylinders are ice pillars. on top of these ppillars are large Ice Mirrors that are assisting in powering the Seed. The Pillars are glass jars painted blue with white lids. The white pedestal is a white plastic lid with runes drawn on it in marker. The Mirrors are made using epoxy resin cast from hirst arts molds. The mirrors were bought off the internet.

Where'd you get the Fantasy Miniatures from? Those look very useful.

The halfling rogue is a reaper fig that my ex wife painted. The white metal figure is a reaper cleric that still needs painted. The rest of the hero minis are all WoTC D&D series miniatures that come prepainted. the Dragon is a plastic prepainted dragon i picked up at JoAnn's Fabric and Craft store on sale.
