Because an RP without the OPs (original posters) just doesn't feel right. 8)

Downloaded new Tau codex. Saw no changes to Kroot, so I'm jumping on in with a descendant of Vrash. Is that cool with you guys?

Oh, you.

I'd just like to run this idea for a background through with you guys: Hired as a merc by the Kabal, and was betrayed and chucked into the Jungle. That work?

No, it would not work. This is a game for the Dark Eldar. Why would they hire someone to do it?

You're either Human or DE.

Not for the Game. For a bit of assistance on a raid, but was tossed into the hunt instead of being paid. He's quite annoyed about it, and is going to attempt to turn the tables on his hunters.

You could potentially be a bounty hunter sent after me, after all, I did piss of some wrong people, stealing a ship from a rogue trader. Don't know how you'd get on to the planet without leaving an easy way to get out while keeping it sensible, too many ship crashes would get rather silly.

DE would not use mercenary assistance in a raid, through their Warp-thingie.

They do use mercenaries. In the Word Bearers Book Dark Disciple, a rogue trader ferries the ruling caste away from a world about to be Exterminated, right into the hands of a DE Kabal. Fittingly enough, he is betrayed. But I do see your point. I'm not sure how I missed it.

As for Tuomir's idea, I do like it. It's reasonable for me to be taken in a raid, and through the magic of coincidence, be put into the hunt. Of course, I'd mainly be concerned with my own survival, while tracking you down (Once I realize you're here) is a secondary objective.

Working on next post atm: Tuomir, you wanted the DE to notice the crash right?
