Heavy Gear Painting Tutorials?

Post by ravingmad8 » Sun Mar 20, 2011 11:16 pm

I was just wondering if there was any good painting tutorials out there for Heavy Gear? I took a search on the DP9 site and couldn't discover anything. I also have the Heavy Gear rule book which does have a painting tutorial in it, but I have the black and white version of the book so it's kind of hard to see what they're doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would paint them any way you like, they all don't have to look the same. Make up your own regiment with your own colours, or base them on what the book says, but make it your design. I did my own scheme and they look pretty good.

The Gear Up E-zine has an article by John Prins in it. He gives a bit of a tutorial on how he went about painting up his Peace River force in it.

Thanks for the tips. I'll have to check those magazines out.
