Wow! Very clean lines. You should consider a wash of Badab black on the metal parts to bring out the recesses.

They have an 'Elite Guard' feel to them. I can just imagine these charging across the badlands with the sun blazing off their armour, giving them a mirage look.

 Hey, how about the 51st HAPF 'Mirage' Regiment?

Nice work! :D

Lets see how they do on the battlefield on Thursday.

Hey Tim, Good name for the guys " 51st HAPF Mirage Regiment", I like it. Let me give you a little backround on the Mirage Regiment, known as " the Green Ghost's". Over the last few cycles the scientists from the Humanist Alliance's vast research laboratories have been looking for better technologies to protect their Gear, Strider and Tank pilots and crews. The main section of research concerned the development of lighter and stronger armour to clad the HAPF vehicles. One such discovery was "Kryptonium", a lightweight yet incredibly tough alloy that was stronger than Adamantium. The material had a green tinge to it and thus was given the name, after a folklore element from Earths long, long forgotten past. The Kryptonium Armour proved to give the HAPF better protection on the battlefield while at the same time reducing the overall weight of vehicles which increased speed of movement. One added benefit of the new Alloy, which was discovered after the fact, was it's virtual invisability to any detection. This stealth bonus was discovered when, during testing, a Sagittarius pilot exited his strider and could not locate it when he returned. This has led to the Humanist Alliance pilots leaving the radio on when they are not in their vehicles so they can find them again. One downside to the new series of vehicles, the "51st Mirage Regiment" is that after the Gears and Striders were finished it was discovered that the designers had forgot to include cupholders in the design. A quick retrofit for this is being worked on but as of now the greatest battlefield danger to HAPF pilots and crew are burns from spilled coffee, which they are forced to carry between their legs until this problem is rectified.

My desktop computer had a cup holder too. It was labled "CD Player", which I can only assume the CD stands for Coffee Dispenser.

Thanks for posting the pics. It fired me up to finish painting my gears.

Good Tim, finish them up. Once my other Sagittarius gets here I will have my core group, and my King Cobra will fit in somewhere, probably with the Fire Support. Now that Mini Wargamming has Blitz at a great price I think I will pick up a couple of Naga's to form a second core group. I'm also thinking of some chameleon's and a couple of Snakeye's to form some kind of Opsec group.

Nice colours, but you realize you put the MBZK on backwards with the Spitting Cobra right?
