game looks mighty interesting out of curiosity what scale is this game in mm ?
I fall into a dark hole
And I can't come out
Do you know if Merlin did exist
Or Frodo wore the ring
Did Corum kill the gods
Or where's the wonderland
Which young Alice had seen
Or was it just a dream
I knew the answers
Now they're lost for me

The miniatures are 12mm scale (infantry foot soldier measures 12mm tall) or 1/144 Scale (N Scale).

Did you have to pin your Grizzly to the base? I know I pinned mine, just because there's so little contact between the model itself and the tiny li'l base it comes with.

No, I didn't pin them because I am going to rebase my grizzlies on these.

played a fun game tonight with Tim, tried out the striders, a little reckless fun with the dragon and an early exit for the Sagitarrius. Tim had a little laser tattoo removal on his Commander and we still didn't settle the bar fight for the " Weird but Tasty". Learned some new things though. Thanks Tim. ( I think we should recreate that dragon battle for some photos, it was pretty cool).

Doug,

yes it was the best game yet. There is still lots more to learn, I am happy that I got to try out indirect fire and hand grenades.

The highlight was taking down the Fire dragon, but he did take 2 gears down with him.

Next time you should use our GP squad as a screen/cannon fodder.

I looked at the new range bands in Gear Up 2 and I think we should give it a try. You can modify your army list using Gear Garage. There is a box to check at the bottom left for Gear Up 2 weapon ranges and the program will modify the print out with the new range bands. Now there just 3 (ie short, Long and Extreme) but they name them as Optimal, Sub-optimal and Extreme. It will make game play faster and way more deadly.

The other rule that I'd like to modify is the combat lock rule. I just like true line of site and the less we have to look up, the better. We can still use active lock for indirect fire and keep it simple.

With control of the 'Weird and Tasty' still in dispute, the war will escalate for sure.

Nice; have you run an Arena style battle yet, seems your portable board would be perfect for it.

yeah but Tim, the way I see it I was hanging out front by the door while your guys were guarding the dumpsters. the dragon takedown was cool, but tough. I have plans for him that you will like.

Right now we are focused on an area in the badlands. Small scale platoon warfare based on an uncontrollable desire for the cuisine of "Weird and Tasty" (A global phenomenon eh HG Craig?)

It will baffle historians for years to come, how such a bloody conflict began over the "Barnaby Rib-wich".

With both the beloved commanding Officers of the HAPF Mirage Regiment and NG Desert Sharks killed in battle, all discipline is out the window and the troops are now out for revenge.

We will have pictures for you of our next battle.

I got my Mammoth Strider yesterday. Its a very nice miniature with lots of customization so I will be adding rare earth magnets.

Those are some huge connection points, where the bit is connected to the sprue.
I might not be the best, but I've made who ever is quite nervous.
