Until one of those Anrakyrs take over say a Emperor battle titan with a lot of vortex missiles and launches them all on that Titan's allies during that shooting phase :P

I think we made a promise, some years ago, not to cheese out our titans with Vortex Missiles. While Vortex Missiles are certainly an option, this is an option I would never take because I see this as pushing an already, very powerful unit, into the OP negative cheese zone = no fun!!

Plus it does not speak well to the fluff. A Vortex missile would be worth more than 100,000 guardsmen or Skitarii and therefore you would rarely see 1 in a full titan legion. To waste them needlessly would be blasphemy!!

To use a Vortex missile once - when you can just fire a Volcano cannon and achieve the same results on every turn - seems like a no-brainer to me! Volcano Cannons for the win!

Exactly. If someone is cheesy enough to bring tons of Vortex Missiles, then they deserve to have them used against them!

This put a large grin on my face. Is it wrong I now want to see this happen?

Quick question: Would a Broadsword Fellblade be legal to bring this year? I've got the datasheet, and the model. Just want to know so I can plan accordingly.

That is the heresy Era vehicle? I could be wrong but I believe that the consensus was the we weren't allowing FW pre heresy stuff.

No it isn't the FW heresy tank. It's the fanmade one that you can get the upgrade kit from Blood and Skulls Industries. It's been out for a few years now.

To get an automatic "yes" then it needs to be a GW made datasheet (either from FW, a WD magazine, or from their website).

I would suggest using the model as something that GW has created.

This might be a little preemptive, but.....

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... od2130102a

7 Vortex missiles in ONE of these..... 0.o (Image what 20 of these will do, preorder now!)

also new apoc is apparently 7 turns now :P

It's also possible that Vortex missiles will get nerfed, so it might not be as good as it looks.

And Apocalypse could always have been 7 turns. The rules were to pick a time constraint and just play until you hit it.

Can I suggest we house rules the vortex missiles on titans? Maybe limit it to one per person? Im afraid there will be THAT guy who brings a couple and first turn half my army is just gone.
