Even if there is not an "official" model?

*edit* I checked the GW website and the model that they show as a transcendent C'tan, is mentioned as being a C'tan shard. So it appears that they are using the model interchangeably.

Its still your call and I will abide by whatever ruling.
Hmmm... that is true. The only problem is WYSIWYG in this case, as one model could represent two things.

I guess I'll say yes, you can use it as the Transcendent version if you choose. Just make sure your opponent is aware of this right from the beginning.

Just wondering if we were using the

4th edition super heavy explosions: ex. 3D6" S9 AP2

FW 6th edition super heavy explosions: ex. 6" S10 AP1, +D6" S3 AP-

6th edition super heavy explosions: ex. S D/10/5 AP 2/3/4

Also, are we adding the turn to the explosion table again?

For this year, I hope we use the same method we used in the past. The middle one looks took boring, and the new one, while nice, will slow the game down considering we will need to check the range for everything to ensure we have the right S/AP.

Yes, Reaver and Warhound both have a new datasheet. WH is 9 hull points at 720 points (30 less), Reaver is 18 hull points at 1450 (same) points

I like the new reserve system as well. They will severely limit the "Tee Hee... I forgot to deploy these guys I'm going to deep strike them on your objectives bottom of Turn 5 to contest" shenanigans that happened last year.

The new book also does not include disruptor beacons (which is a good thing :P)

I would like to use the new explosion table but for simplicity's sake I think the 4th edition one would work best. (not the FW one as it will confuse a lot of people)

Which explosion table are we using this year? The Forge World Update (paltry and weak) version, or the wholesome no-holds-barred version we had last year?
