Now bear with me for a moment, what if GW was really looking out for the miniature wargaming community by making their prices so high that people go past 40k and look at new, exciting and (aruguably) better games!

That way the community grows amd there is a wider selection of mini's in ma & pop stores.

That would explain the early fine cast models

I can just imagine the CEO(or chairman or whatever) of GW sitting in his office stroking a white cat thinking to himself

"I really like playing dystopian wars but all my friends are playing silly 40k , Well I guess they won't be very happy when I RAISE THE PRICES!"

Just incase you all didn't know the CEO of GW is actually a retired shampoo salesman. So basically running GW is just an old mans hobby to him.

Then they should fire him and get somebody who actuly knows and cares what their doing and not just raising the prices when they need to pay off some debt.

okay cmon, your really pushing it.... this isnt as bad as the other one but its like your going through each subforum for old threads :/

From the other thread (tyranid one):

Quote:
4. Thread necromancy (i.e. replying to a very old thread) - is not allowed, period. If you have a related question or comment, start a new thread and refer to the old thread with a link. Note from Mike: Resurrecting your own WIP Logs and Army Lists is an allowed exception to this - they're meant to be ongoing logs of activity, and it's perfectly acceptable to post an update after a few months of downtime in these cases.

i wouldnt call a week or two after last comment thread necromancy, this thread isnt that old (less than a month). Now if it had been more than a month after the last comment, then i would be inclined to agree with you

THE TOM HAS SPOKEN!!!

anyways.. regarding OP... the name made me go "WHAT!?!?!?!" and then I was like "oooh"

I think he has private meetings with the rest of GW and the first things he says is

"welcome puppets, I've been expcting you"
