hey, can anyone recommend good cases from battlefoam? I might start with just the foam and buy the cases later on (holding them in cardboard boxes )

216 is good for 1500 point armies that are more elite{small units} (sm, tau, ect.) it holds 4 inches of foam trays. You can do like me: 2 1" troop foam trays and a 2 inch vehicle one. Carries my space wolves finely:) about 90$(usd) over all I believe Hope this helped.

The 216s two inch is for my vehicles. It can hold a few rhinos.(depending on how placed) The one inch troop trays hold 40 men I think. How big are ravens?

The 432 might be a good fit for you. it can fit 7.5 inches of foam, so it would fit your tanks and ships and get a couple trays for your troops. What exactly do you have? That would help us help you pick out some foam. Honestly Battlefoam is the only bag and foam company that I'll work with. Their product is awesome

looks like that extra raven is gonna add another 4.5 inches of foam. The other thing you can do to get exactly the number of foam slots you need is get on the custom foam creator and make a custom tray for your guys.

Yup, you can do that and send it on to Battlefoam. They are good about that. Custom foam takes a while to get, but it's totally worth it. What I recommend is see what you have and see where you want to go with it. If you want to grow your army, get foam with that in mind as well.
