Ok so I was wondering what one of games workshops policies were.

I know that in an official competition you can only use games workshops products. But what is their stance on the use of conversion parts from other companies (helmets ect.)


I'm wanting to create an army for the dark angels codex and rather than sculpting a new helmet and robes for every model, would I be able to use conversion parts and still have it as a legal army for use in Games workshop stores?

i think it has to be GW parts only, i.e in conversions you can only use gw heads etc

things youve sculpted your self are fine.

If you can pass parts of as GW parts, i.e. it looks like a GW piece youve modified, im sure you could get away with it

That's a bit of a pain... Guess I'm sculpting robes for 40 odd terminators...

I always thought it was 75% GW model and at least 3 different colors on the model? I could be wrong but I thought thats what it was.

Well i looked on their website and I couldn't find any information anywhere...
