Great, I been trying to find that missing page that explain how you can have a tiny bit of balance in a game without point costs!

Example of how a tournament now could make restrictions:
So in the next Tournament I'll be bringing my Clan-Nurgle-pestilence-Chaos-Skaven-Army-of-Unstoppable-Doom, which will contain Two Clan Pestilence Skaven 'brotherhood' and a Chaos Demon Nurgle 'brotherhood', Since the restrictions for that tournament is to have 3 brotherhoods and no more then 100 models max.

Now I just have one question... Why shouldnt I make an army of Sigmarines and Chaos warriors... other then the horriblely bad lore that'd bring, I have not yet found any rules for any faction restrictions. The box in red on the latest Picture is taunting me! "Turn the page to see the great alliances!"

"the only thing that matters is that you like them."

wow. this is a big turn around from their policy of must have GW brand, correct size and shape bases. I hope this trend continues.
The question is, do oil your war machines... or feed them

I'm...skeptically optimistic? I'm still in for the starter, anyway. The new Skeletons look awesome...

I've got my name down at my LGS for a starter... though I'm mostly going to repurpose the Sigmarines as Tzeentchian Terminators for my CSM, I think ;)

I think the Lizards/Slann/Old Old Ones are going to be a fantasy version of "Legion of the Damned". You show up when you are needed, perhaps even keeping another "master plan" running according to course. I don't believe we have heard the last of the lizardmen, and I don't believe they're 'bit players' like most of the rest of the armies are.

However, because you were one of the most recently updated armies, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a couple of Sundays before we get back to investigating our beloved scaled warriors.

While I had been floundering in Warhammer 3rd and 4th Editions, 5th Edition was my first "real" edition, where I had a solid idea of what I was doing and where I was going to go. I still refer to it perhaps as the most nostalgically satisfying edition, and I am especially fond of both of the armies that were presented in the starter box. Long live Lustria!! Forever in our hearts!!
