Re: My First Terrain Project

One easy way to make the razor wire have more detail is to twist two strands of wire around each other and then spiral it into the loopy razor wire shape. I love how sturdy the beams look though. I've felt that ork structures should start with strong frames and then given the 'lived in' look. Favela...

A boat load of Dark Reapers will kill space marines in a hurry. I like the Tempest Launcher on an Exarch with crack shot. Those space marines get no saves! Except invulns of course, but things with invulns deserve to get shot until they die. Fire Prisms are my weapon of choice against termies as lon...

Very nice! I like the boarded up window too! Something looks hincky with the first picture, but the piece looks great in the other pics. It must be a trick of the light.

Re: DracoAvian's Terrain Ideas

I suppose I could come in for an angled shot so you can see the topography more easily.

DracoAvian's Terrain Ideas

Choose your 3 favorite. (I used some cheap $1 paints for this terrain. I didn't fancy buying a dozen pots for the final product. So if you guys want I can try to translate the paint I used to Citadel paints for your ease of use.) http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/399591_536388143044206_1799...

Re: Some of my Dark Potential Terrain

Oh! I was wondering why it looked a little different than what I am used to. My local lumber store sells blue styrene at 1" and pink at 1/2." I'm not sure why... :P

Re: Some of my Dark Potential Terrain

Looks really good! Very nice right angles on the ruin. It makes it look very stable. The thickness of the styrene is 1/2" correct?

New IG enemies!

I just fought a battle against a long time friend who brought his guard back to the table after a long hiatus. I was using a list that I had balanced decently against 'nids and 'rines. He really torched me though. I lost the game by 1 objective point but only had 4 models left on the field. I've got...

Re: New Project - a Near Future City board...

Sounds good and congrats. And all the best modeling is done at night. Maybe you could do 7 2X2 sections-one for each type of neighborhood you listed, then you could mix them up more but would only use 6 at a time. That would also break the fun (some would say work) down into smaller chunks and prob...

I like it! Reminds me of a gunfight in Alpha Protocol that takes place in an archeological dig.
