Re: Guard Army Questions

The Dark Angels aren't well liked by other Marines for the most part. Not that others don't share those opinions on Guardsmen, or that Space Marines see Guardsmen as equals, but many do hold a considerable amount of respect for them. Space Wolves went into a war with the Inquisition to protect a ra...

Re: Guard Army Questions

If you think that IG is being treated badly in lore then you haven't seen how they treat SoB because they are ones that were made joke and Matt Ward is worst offender in that when he used them to elevate his GK back in 5th ed.

Re: Guard Army Questions

Cadia might had fallen when it was engulfed by expanding Eye of Terror but it did so before men and women of Imperial Guard that were defending it did so they did hold the line to the last moment. Not bad at all for just normal human troops. I am sure they earned respect of even most arrogant Space ...

Re: Guard Army Questions

As much as Space Marines are poster boys of 40k that doesn't make Scions any less important. Scions still have they role both in 40k universe and on tabletop so there is no reason to but them down for Space Marines.

Re: Most Sporting award from GW

Hmm. I wasn't aware of this (generally I don't follow 40k tournament scene) but I find that to be very interesting. Then again I must admit that I don't know how often award is given for being good sportsman.

Re: New SM race creation

Least at this moment Word Bearers don't have they own Codex so all rules that are needed for them is in basic CSM Codex. For what I know In that they least get they own trait that allows re-rolling failed morale tests.

Re: New SM race creation

While you can paint your own chapter how ever you want you might consider least in some cases like Blood angels and Dark Angels do you want that they use they own chapter keyword or main chapter keyword. After all least in those two cases named characters can't have they chapter keyword change so th...

Re: How are the Space Wolves and Dark Angels in 8th?

To me it's sad to hear that Thunderwolf Cavalry is currently that bad. Hopefully they fix that and either reduce point cost for them or buff them when Codex comes out when ever that is. Maybe not to level that those would be spammed mind you but to level that they are worth taking.

Re: Thousand Sons codex review

As fan of Rubric Marines while Codex having focus on Tzaangors is something that bothers me over all that does seem rather good. Not sure if enough fore me to go for Thousand Sons over Death Guard minds you but still.

Re: Imperial Armor - for and against

Sorry, but I think Koonitz is right. Your reasons for refusing to play against people with FW units is completely illogical, and frankly it does smack slightly of envy rather than anything else. It might seem like it to you but it's not. Not that I really care either way since we don't know each ot...

Re: GW Teasers/Rumours Discussion

Well I must admit that I didn't expect seeing any Squats but that Squat character for Necromunda is nice surprise and it's sure to make people that have been wanting to see them return happy.

Re: Imperial Armor - for and against

Where do you draw the line? Why Forge World? From what I read into your statement, "because it's expensive and I can't afford it, therefore I'm not letting someone else, who can, play with their toys out of spite"? Because what about the kid that can't afford a Land Raider, or Magnus? Do you accept...

Re: Imperial Armor - for and against

Since some models in IA are OP I am in between. While I find it good call to ban all of them in tournaments, tournament players tend to know they are getting into so it might not be needed. That said as casual player I will never play against anyone who uses those since I don't have any of those mys...

Re: GW Teasers/Rumours Discussion

It's good to see Dark Eldar, Tau and Necrons get they codices sooner rather than later. Sure I would had love to see Orks before Tau but what can you do for them having to wait longer. Then again I would love to see them weaken drones being used to protect battlesuits. I doubt it will happen but tha...
