Re: Plastic Daemon Prince to Nurgle DP Questions

im not overly fond of the oversized power armor idea. if you are talking about armor bursting due to nurgly goodness that is different.. as it is i think it looks strange. With regard to the belly.. are you intending to keep it segmented from the chest? Interesting idea about mimicing a flies anatom...

Re: Thor, the tau Broadside (Forgeworld)

thanks. Having heard you say that i shall leave a comment. I feel the pose is a little unnatural/awkward because if anything, i think he should be bracing himself on something behind as he prepares to fire. Why he would need to 'rest' i am not sure. Also about the painting technique, i understand th...

Re: Thor, the tau Broadside (Forgeworld)

Hi A Luna. I am very curious about the composition of this piece. What is the battlesuit meant to be doing? Is he kneeling on the rock? Finished executing a jump? Also, the extreme weathering is to fit in with constant sandstorms in your desert world? What is the grey and white markings? This confus...

Re: Space Hulk Terminators (this time it is the new ones).

nice red.

But i think the color variation needs a little work. Like the gems and such, instead of just going for gold, maybe a nice contrasting color would break the red.

Re: To nurgle or not to Nurgle????/

Its quite true that deathguard armies tend to be one dimensional. The reason is that because the models are so expensive in terms of point cost, alot of players have to try their best to maximise the effectiveness of a squad just so that its a playable army. i'm a fluff player (maybe not fluff but d...

Re: Joe's Eldar Remake... for a 3rd time. (Update Mar/2 Page 7)

I know whats missing from ur models. Ur helmets and face plate should be 2 different colors. They should contrast. Usually the faceplate follows the color of the armour, and the helmet is a different contrasting color. I think ur wave serpent looked good with the blue. might be a good idea. Also u m...

Re: Who thinks Space Marines get too much attention?

You're right. I see fist, I think Crimson. They're too alike for my liking... I believe theres another crimson fist character. I think he is called captain cortez. The reason why SM gets alot of air time is because its easier to write stories about heroes and heroism. What better subject than a 3m ...

Re: FW warboss on bike WIP

yup its been said. The reds are good. The metals arent too bad. The thruster good use a bit more orky graffitti. The skin is a real problem. I think u can go for a brighter green look to contrast the whole model. That way your boss will really stand out from all the other drab and dirty reds and met...

Re: nurgle army fluff

thousand sons and nurgle is actually very strange. In the old codex, there is fluff that tzeentch and nurgle are ancient enemies. I would speculate that this is because while nurgle is ESSENTIALLY about sustaining life through perpetual decay (ie maintaining the status quo) and to quote the old code...

not too sure but i remember lotr models being a smaller scale than 40k models. Just be careful with that, and remember to add the big guns! both his muscles and shootas. good luck!

Re: Death Guard Helmet Conversion.

spider appearance is actually a rather popular nurgle mutation, though i found it difficult to model with gs.

And bloated bellies are another common hallmark of plague marines.

Boils and pustules definitely. I have like 40 pusbubbles on my dread. ahaha.

Good luck!
