Re: Fantasy this week?

Hey man, if you can't find a game i'd recomend comming out Tuesday for a pick up game, there's a fairly large fantasy group out every Tuesday but I know a few (my self included) are playing games for the Campaign Tuesday.

Hope that helped!

Re: handgunner/crossbowmen

I find though the steam tank seems better it is actually worse. In stead of just taking damage when it has issues it now can go nuclear and really hurt your battle line, the drop in toughness makes it alot more vulnerable to average troops with halbeards or great weapons.

Re: handgunner/crossbowmen

A Mage and a BSB should be great and unless you want named charactors then that's all you'll need, other than that its up to your preference as to weapons. Hand guns have the big punch while crossbows have the range. Remember you can only fire in two ranks so beyond that is wasting points, units of ...

Re: The Armies, in a nut shell

No daemons? I guess they are not too common, but still some people play them. I also thought tomb kings was a bit more of a advanced army, as you really need to know what you are doing. As for Daemons, they are definitely a beginner army. They need a bit of skill against elves(especially high ones)...

Re: The Armies, in a nut shell

Looks nice! But the empire one dosnt really fit their new book very well IMO, I havnt played much with it yet but alot of the gunline and infantry options are over priced now and require alot more skill to be effective. The Helblasters still godly though

I imagine your sisters and marine combo would be allowed, you've brought it to every other apoc game mwgs done so I'd think this one would be no different?

Re: Registration Is Now Open!

50$ this has to be some sort of typo? if not that is outrageous and i guess i wont be there haha! Bad form MWG, bad form Were you there to help set up the tables and terrain? That alone was enough work to justify $50 for this event just to get it set up and took down when it wasn't even that far fr...

Re: Should we make the Reclaimer Starter Set?

I'd say add the third race as well, as much as I'd like to see an expansion on the corporation I think it would be easyier to expand them later that try and get a full set out now while you have the money.

Re: recommendations for VC's to take out the Steam Tank

Personally being an empire player id agree with throwing an ethereal unit at it, unless he's smart and prepares for it that'll be one dead steam tank! Other than that mabey the terrorgeist thing? It years up my 1+ save knights really good so I imagine it could do the same to a steam tank.
