Re: 1500 Point Tyranid Army

Yeah the colours do look quite nice. Going to give them any back story?

Re: 1500 Point Tyranid Army

You are lucky with your guy, I don't mind them trying to sell me stuff since it's their job, it would be nice to get through one sentence without them suggesting something that I don't want, and then the look of disdain when I say I don't want to buy it. I've never based a model, I'm putting some Te...

Re: 1500 Point Tyranid Army

Woah, the guys in GW must have loved you that day, did they still try to suggest buying even more stuff after buying all of that?

Any ideas on how you want to paint them yet?

Re: Tatter's WIP Space Wolves.

Not been able to do much painting until recently, I've been painting a scout the last few days. I'll take some photos of him soon and upload them as soon as I can, maybe tonight if I can find the camera.

Re: Space Wolves Army WIP

From a post in another topic I think he just likes the look of the chaos bits used on normal space wolves. Though a 13th company army would be pretty cool.

Re: Space Wolves Army WIP

They look good, if you look in the codex in a few of the pictures there are space wolves that look like they are chaos.

This is the guy I'm talking about:

Re: Who pilots Space Wolves Land Speeders? Blood Claws? Grey

I think in the Battle of the Fang a Wolf Guard was flying a Land Speeder and in Blood of Asahelm a Grey Hunter was piloting a Stormraven. I would personally say it should be a Grey Hunter, just seems right, though you could say they are Long Fangs (Since Land Speeders have heavy weapons) that still ...

Re: easycompany's Massive Restoration Project!

Wouldn't mind seeing some before photos. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how the models turn out.

Re: Tatter's WIP Space Wolves.

I've taken a few more photos of older models, I was going to take some of the red legged WIP model but I'd rather wait, he's almost done. I'll get my most hated model out of the way first. This is the second model I had ever painted, I didn't like any stage making this model, when I first glued him ...

Re: Tatter's WIP Space Wolves.

Thanks guys, I started just over 1 year ago and as a guy that was really bad at painting I am pretty happy with the standard I'm at. Hopefully in the coming year I can paint more than a grand total of 9.5 models... I was quite nervous about posting here because there are a lot of people that paint m...

Re: Tatter's WIP Space Wolves.

Haven't done much painting for the last month or so, I've started again finally and I'll be able to paint more now, before I was limited because of poor lighting but I've got a daylight lamp now so I can paint whenever! I didn't think it would make as big of a difference actually. I'm still a very s...

Re: Old Space Marine Stronghold

It would be easy to make with polystyrene foam and covered in plaster like I did with this. https://83smzq.sn2.livefilestore.com/y2pxb2g1qR4Jjw0PCgxY6Rs5y9BcH20cMA58rT4lD1ndw7tCZ1A0xo23jZjPM2Mgw7eQ5j-ITwyI6yEm-EI3z95h4yPDJxnWOw0LhNyLXA9di5xHVuFCT-9GtJYGfh9t13s/Bugbait_Fortress01.jpg?psid=1 That is ...

Re: Old Space Marine Stronghold

I doubt anyone does, it doesn't look like the kind of thing they sold back then. Usually buildings were made of card and plastic, that building looks like it's made from polystyrene, so chances are it was made by them either for that photo or it's from their personal terrain stockpiles. Stuff like t...

Re: New Eldar Wraithknight PICS

Not a fan of the new Wraithknight model, or the larger models in general really. I'd rather that the larger models were left to Forge World for Armageddon games. do you mean apocalypse games? trust me this just means that forgeworld are going to have to go bigger hehe ... Yes, yes I do... Th...
