Re: Imperial Guard 2018

In the absence of clippers, an X-Acto knife with a trusty #11 blade works wonders. It's also good for trimming mold lines. I don't exactly have an XACTO knife. I have a testors razer like knife: Disposable Hobby Knife 8801AT https://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/testors/tools/cutti...

Re: Imperial Guard 2018

Out of curiosity I'm checking the points values of my 500 point list against the 3rd edition codex to see what the value is and here are the differences: HQ: Company Commander -Bolter Troops: Infantry Squad -bolter, Lascannon Infantry Squad -bolter, plasma gun, heavy bolter Infantry Squad -bolter, p...

What's wrong with the places you listed?
Spellcrow from what you showed looks like a good place to buy some Black Templar bits.
EDIT:
Or are you just looking for more places to buy the parts?

Re: Warhammer 30k fan film (too much epic)

That's pretty cool! I can't tell if it's mixed live action and cgi or not. Wish that GW supported things like this too. I'm a bit disapointed that the Lord Inquisitor isn't being worked on anymore by Warpgazer. He said it's demanding & exhausting. :/ Lord Inquisitor original trailer before it was ac...

Re: 1750 the New Standard?

Eye of Terror (Real swearing with real life bad places isn't allowed) I'm aiming for 500 point armies. I heard that's the standard of my new local shop & after playing countless games of 3000 points for 6~ hours at a time... I'm glad to not spend half an hour in my movement phases. I think the drop ...

Re: ASTRA MILITARUM - setting up a new army

The reason why I'm thinking about Catachan is on the one hand I quite like the design of the models and they seem easy enough to paint quickly and on the other side because of the reroll vehicles get for their weapons, I don't really want to go close combat to be honest... more like a gunline and h...

Re: ASTRA MILITARUM - setting up a new army

Leman Russ Squads can hold their own quite well but commanders REALLY buff Imperial Guard. If you go Mechanized(Lots of tanks) you need some tank commanders because company and platoon commanders can't give orders to tanks. If you don't want a lot of infantry you'll need some transports. You can get...

Re: 3D model for Daemon prince of Nurgle conversion

eBay typically has bits you can buy.
Otherwise I'd say the kits themselves should have the parts.
Used models are also an option.

I bought a terminator Assault cannon on eBay for my Black Reach Terminators. Was 3-5 dollars.

Re: Imperial Guard 2018

Just a quick update: I think I'm going to base my Khorne Berzerker army with lava. Warhammer TV Advent Calendar Lava basing tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH5C6_TxPr8 Going to have to pick up some paints for that. I don't have 3~ of the under texture paint paints & I don't have the textur...

I use photobucket. If you go to photobucket.com and create a free account you can upload. Go to your profile and click the upload button (Should say upload.) Then you can select your photos from your computer. After that click library and click your picture. On the right side there should be a link ...

Finished painting my Khorne berzerker! He looks really cool. I'm not sure how I should start basing my models. I have the Citadel Grass and Warhammer 40.000 Basing Kit Warhammer TV the youtube channel likes technical paints that look like destroyed rock ground that's cracked. Anyone know what the pl...

Re: Best rules for squats

So, I had some really old Space Marines...1993.... Pics Anyways, I decided that they would be squats instead of Space Marines....They are considerably smaller than Space Marines...and even smaller than some Guardsman Probably build up a small detachment (I have 11 of them, a captain and 2 squads of...

Re: 40 K movement trays

run more tank/MC heavy lists. Last game I played was tank vs tank Anyway, there's pros and cons as already mentioned, but yeah for some units I think they're useful. I certainly don't see the whole game moving that direction. One of the reasons I think this might be a more interesting thing to do. ...

Re: 40 K movement trays

Thanks for the input! I wanted to wait a while to see what everyone's thoughts would be. For strategy it does make sense to space out. iirc-there's no deep strike scatter. It's 9 inches+ away from non-friendly models & base to base contact. I was wondering if people would think it to be a new conven...
